Muzeiko is the largest children's educational centre in Eastern Europe, located on an area of 3500 sq.m. and winner of the Educational Building of the Year Award for 2015. The concept of the project focuses on educational and interactive games with a focus in science and engineering. The concept of the building is the work of the American company Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership Team (LHSA+DP), who have behind them a number of children's museums in the USA, their Bulgarian partners A and A Architects, and Bigla III is the contractor of the project. The building impresses with modern and innovative forms, a unique façade with three sculptural volumes clad in natural materials. Certified to the American LEED GOLD standard, Muzeiko was designed with the idea of energy efficiency and green technology, low operating costs and high quality inputs.
